I’m glad you’re here!
I’ve put together a nice assortment of bite-sized pieces of real estate news, entertainment, and resources I think you’re going to enjoy. (And maybe even learn a thing or two you never knew you wanted to know!)
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s on tap:

But first, let’s start it off with my…
Meme of the Week
You’d be surprised how much of real estate involves talking people through things that have very little to do with real estate. 😄

That’s one way to drown out your partner’s snoring!
You have to expect a certain amount of noise when theme park rides and thousands of excited tourists are practically your neighbors.

So the fact that residents who live near Universal Studios Hollywood recently began complaining that the screams coming from a new roller coaster being tested at the park are loud enough to pierce their windows throughout the day and night speaks volumes about how thrilling the ride must be!

On a positive note, it probably makes a few people less upset about their partner snoring too loudly at night…

Why you might want to tell your agent if your partner snores
Real estate agents often joke about having to play the role of couples therapist for their clients. Usually that just means helping them compromise on things like the style of house they want, where it should be located, or how many bedrooms they need.

But sometimes the things couples need to talk through aren’t quite so obvious.

I recently published an article about why something as seemingly insignificant as snoring, eating chips in bed, or watching TV while your partner is trying to sleep might actually be worth having a conversation about when deciding what you need in your next home.

And as strange as that may sound, some of the statistics behind it might surprise you!

“How’s the market?”
I get that question a lot, and I’m always happy to answer it! But there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. That’s why this newsletter doesn’t include weekly stats or price updates.

Besides, most people don’t care about real estate data until it actually matters to them. So instead of stats, I just try to keep this fun and entertaining.

Curious about a specific house? Wonder what your place is worth? Or just want a quick market snapshot?

Just hit reply and ask me! I’m always glad to give you any information, thoughts, or data you want. (And of course, no obligation or pressure! I love any opportunity to talk about the market.)

Trivia Time
The French word “boudoir” is often used as a sexy term for a bedroom, but it literally translates to:

1)  Snoring room

2)  I have a headache

3)  A place to be in a bad mood

4)  Resting room

Click the answer you think is correct.

Can’t sleep if it’s too quiet?
Not everyone needs peace and quiet to get a good night’s sleep. Some people are the complete opposite and actually have trouble falling asleep when it’s too quiet!

In fact, one study found that 38% of Americans need some sort of background noise to sleep.

So if your partner’s snoring isn’t noisy enough and you need some alternatives, perhaps one of these 5 types of homes will provide the noise you need to drift off to sleep.

The fact is…
You think they were fighting about his snoring?! 😄

That wraps it up for this week!
