Researchers say those eerie feelings may simply be caused by low-frequency vibrations from aging pipes and ventilation systems rather than anything supernatural.

It turns out some builders are designing homes with fewer hallways in an effort to squeeze more usable living space into a smaller footprint in order to save buyers money.
